Hi,
I'm Zoe!

Lets get to know eachother...

I am a Solicitor on the weekdays who supports and outreaches to rural and remote communities and the photographer behind Wynonna's Photography.

For most of my life, I chased perfection - studying law, setting goals and trying to prove myself. But everything changed when I fell in love with a cowboy who gifted me my camera. That simple act opened up a new way of seeing the world and most importantly myself.

I'm a first-generation cowgirl. I didn't grow up around horses or rodeos, but the western way of life welcomed me like I had always belonged. These days, I spend my time riding my horse Ted, being with my partner and our fur babies as well as capturing the raw and honest beauty of rural life.

Photography has become more than a creative outlet - it is a reflection of my journey home to myself. Through Wynonna, I tell stories of love, dust, rodeos and powerful moments that shape who we are.

Why Wynonna?

Good Question!

The name Wynonna is inspired by the spirit of resilience, independence, and strength. Traditionally meaning “first-born daughter” in Native American culture, it resonated with me in a way I couldn’t ignore.

Wynonna felt like the perfect symbol for this chapter of my life - not just as a first-generation cowgirl, but as a woman learning to live life on her own terms. To me, it’s about claiming space in a world that once felt unfamiliar and making it my own. It reflects my journey not only into rural life, but into creativity, self-love and freedom from the pressure to be perfect.

Naming my photography Wynonna’s felt right - because it’s more than just a creative outlet. It’s a love letter to myself. It’s my way of honoring this journey: stepping into something new, trusting my instincts and choosing to live beyond my comfort zone. It’s about embracing where I come from while carving out where I’m going - through the lens, in the saddle and in my own skin.

I tell stories of dust, light, horses, family, love, and identity - the kind of stories that say “this is real, and this is enough.”
